The ADTECHNO HD-10UTR extends HDMI video and audio, USB device signals and control over a single Cat5e/6 HDBaseT cable. The transmitter/receiver system supports up to 100 metres for Full HD and 70 metres for 4K UHD at 60 Hz, making it useful when a display or operator position is separated from the source computer.
The HDMI interfaces accept 18 Gbps 4K60 4:4:4 and HDR signals. Internally, the transmitter converts the signal to 4:2:0 for transport and the receiver converts it back to 4:4:4; it should therefore not be described as an end-to-end unaltered 4:4:4 link. HDCP 1.4/2.2 pass-through, USB 2.0 device extension, bidirectional infrared and RS-232C provide video and peripheral connectivity. Bidirectional PoC allows a power supply at either end to power both units, while locking DC connectors help secure the installation.
Applications include interactive classrooms, remote keyboard and mouse positions, meeting rooms, signage and industrial computer access. Reach depends on format, cable quality and conditions.
