The network cable carrying audio can also power the device using standard Power Over Ethernet (PoE) technology when connected to a suitable network switch or to a mid span PoE injector.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nEXTERNAL POWER INPUT\u003cbr\u003e\nAn industry standard USB C connector is used for powering the AoIP units from an external power source.  This could be a plug top power supply or a USB battery pack.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nREDUNDANT POWER\u003cbr\u003e\nIf both PoE and USB C power sources are connected then power supply redundancy is automatically enabled, meaning that either one of the power sources can be lost and the AoIP unit will continue working.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nPOWER ON LED\u003cbr\u003e\nA bright blue rear panel LED indicates that the device is turned on.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nRUBBER FEET\u003cbr\u003e\nThe AoIP units are supplied with rubber feet so if the AoIP4I Milan is to be sat on a desk or the back of a workbench, then the rubber feet are fitted to stop it sliding around.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nRACK MOUNTING\u003cbr\u003e\nThe front and rear bumpers can be removed and the AoIP4I Milan can be rack mount using the AoIP\/RK rack kit.
