PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A compact, fanless encoder for connecting computers and HDMI sources to a Colibri-based Dante AV Ultra network. Supports up to 4K60 4:4:4 video and eight-channel audio with subframe latency. Its USB-C video input uses DisplayPort Alt Mode. Source selection can be automatic, via the front-panel button, or through an externally wired push-button connected to the sensor input. A selection lock helps prevent accidental changes. Silent operation suits meeting rooms, classrooms and presentation spaces.
The Dante environment allows audio, video and supported control signals to be routed independently, helping integrators distribute a programme to the required endpoints without duplicating the physical source. Matching Colibri-based Dante AV Ultra endpoints are required for video interoperability.
The combination of HDMI and USB-C source connections suits shared presentation positions. Automatic source selection simplifies everyday use, while manual and external-button switching give an installer more control over the operator workflow. USB-C video requires a source that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode.

FORMAT LIMITATIONS AND NETWORK REQUIREMENTS
• YCbCr 4:2:0 is not supported.
• 4K is supported in 8-bit only.
• 576p is displayed in a 4:3 aspect ratio.
• Use a compatible Colibri-based Dante AV Ultra decoder for video transport.
• Use a managed 1GbE network configured for multicast, IGMP snooping/querier and QoS.
• Supported output formats also depend on the source signal and connected display or SDM host.
POWER AND OPTIONAL ADAPTER
Power options: IEEE 802.3at PoE+ or 12V DC. No separate AC-DC adapter is required when powered by a suitably rated PoE+ switch or injector.
Maximum power consumption: 15W, including USB HID load.
The AC-Dc adapter is optional and sold separately.
